The Manu'a group, which lie 100km east of Tuitula, consists of three islands, Ofu and Olosega, linked by a short bridge, and Tau. They offer the most spectacular scenery in all the Samoan Islands. With just a few sleepy villages of a few hundred families, they are still totally unspoiled by modern influences. Many Samoans believe that Manu'a was the first land to be created, and that it was the birthplace of the Polynesian people. For wild landscape pictures, see

Ofu and
Tau.
