Our wedding took place on Nov 17, 2001 in San Jose. In the morning of this long day, Tuan came with his family to Lanchi's place, where both families were formally introduced to each other in the Vietnamese tradition. Then a delegation went to Tuan's place where Lanchi was introduced to Tuan's ancestors. All family met up at Lanchi's place for a lunch. Friends arrived in the afternoon, when the catholic ceremony took place at the San Francis of Assisi church in the Evergreen Valley. This was followed by a reception and diner in the church's hall.
