Tucson is the second largest city in Arizona, after Phoenix. Old Tucson is a movie studio used for the filming of several westerns, which is now open to the public as a theme park. The Mission San Xavier del Bac, nicknamed 'The White Dove of the Desert', is the finest example of Spanish Colonial architecture in the United States. Tucson's low humidity and alkali soil make it a good location for aircraft storage. Tucson's Pima Air and Space Museum is one of the largest of its kind in the country. The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base includes the aircraft boneyard for all U.S. excess military aircraft. Tucson is situated between the East Unit and the West Unit of Saguaro National Park.
