Memphis is the most populous city in Tennessee. It is there that many American music genres were started, including Blues, Gospel, Rock n' Roll. Famous names who got their starts in Memphis include Johnny Cash (the king of country), Elvis Presley (the king of Rock n' Roll), and B. B. King (the king of Blues). A lot of the music scene takes place on the sidewalks, bars, and clubs of Beale Street.
