The Washington Cascades, also known as Cascade Mountains, are part of a chain of mountains that extend from California's Mount Shasta up to British Columbia. There is a mix of volcanic peaks (such as Mount Baker and Glacier Peak), as well as non volcanic peaks, such as the rugged mountains found in
North Cascades National Park.
