Surrounded by mountains, Sun Moon Lake's color changes constantly with weather and light. Sun Moon Lake is a popular tourist destination, with numerous boat tours departing from the pier of Shueishe Village, the main town, making it easy to visit the Tsen Pagoda and Syuanzang Temple on the south shore.
