Ko Phi Phi Don (Phi-Phi Island) is the largest of the group of Phi-Phi islands, situated in the Andaman Sea, about one hour and half (50 km) by boat from both Phuket and Krabi. The Phi-Phi islands feature limestone cliffs, long white sandy beaches, and clear water, making them a popular place for marine recreational activities. Although the main tourist settlement, Tonsai Village, is a large patchwork of restaurants, hotels, tour and diving shops, Ko Phi-Phi Don is still significantly less developped than Phuket. There are no motorized vehicules. Travel to the outling villages is by narrow trails or long tail boat only.
