On a block of the legendary Hollywood boulevard, historic movie palaces and new attractions are linked by the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Two of the most notable historic theaters include the Grauman's Chinese Theatre, possibly the world most famous movie theatre (thanks to the numerous premieres hosted since 1927 and the forecourt), and the even more glamorous El Capitan theater where Citizen Kane premiered. Both are dwarfed by the kitsch Hollywood and Highland shopping and entertainment complex, whose Kodak Theatre is now the permanent home of the Academy Awards show. Besides this facade, you'd think Hollywood is full of major studios, but only one remains there, Paramount Pictures Studio.
