The
Polynesian Cultural Center is a collection of reconstitutions of typical villages from around Polynesia. It is one of the best places to learn about Polynesian culture in a laid-back and friendly atmosphere. Small-scale shows and interactive demonstrations are conducted through the day. In the evening, a large and well-produced show is offered, with authentic singing and dancing from various countries. The center is ran by the Brigham Young Hawaii University. Students from around the Pacific are offered scholarships in exchange for working there and showing their way of life.
