Mui Ne is a coastal town about midway between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang. Mui Ne natural attractions include several sand dune fields, the Fairy Spring, a shallow stream flowing through interesting red rock formations (follow it barefoot for 20 minutes to see a waterfall), and a nice beach. Mui Ne Beach is nowadays lined up with so many resorts that tourists outnumber locals in Mui Ne, however the fishing village (Lang Chai) north of the resort area has remained relatively unchanged. Some of the catch is used to produce a fish sauce which is quite reknown in Vietnam.
