Oct 14, 2008: We are adding panoramic format images, mostly from the US National Parks. The first series consists of 170 photos in Pacific Coast and Mountain Parks. Wide-format wallpaper images are provided for those panoramic images, ideal for use in multi-screen displays. |
Sept 6 - Oct 25, 2008: For the first time, 58 of Quang-Tuan Luong's images printed from 5x7 transparencies at size 24x36 or larger, one for each of the US National Parks, are on display during the solo exhibit Treasured Lands at the Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA. |
Dec 1, 2007: We are re-working the large format images using new 300MB drum scans. This concerns mostly the US National Parks. To distinguish images that were photographed in large format from other images, we are now sizing the thumbnails of the large format images slightly larger than the other images. All the large format images are also collected into a special gallery: National Parks Large Format. This new release is a mix of new images and variations of existing images (in which case the old image is retired). |
Oct 15, 2007: We are begining to convert all of our images to B&W. This will take a couple of months, since the process is more involved than just removing color. The first completed gallery is Europe in Black and White. Gallery structure is identical to color images. To switch between color and B&W for available images, use the link at the upper right corner of each page, just below the search box. |
